Why Choose a Collaborative Approach?
At our practice, we believe that the best health outcomes happen when everyone works together. Collaborative health care brings your entire wellness team—your health coach, medical providers, therapists, and others—onto the same page. By sharing insight and coordinating care, we ensure that every part of your health is supported, not just one piece of it.
This team-based approach helps prevent gaps in care, reduces confusion, and creates a clear and unified plan tailored to your goals. It also means you receive consistent guidance, faster problem-solving, and a deeper level of support. Most importantly, collaboration allows us to treat the whole person—your lifestyle, mindset, habits, and long-term well-being—not just isolated symptoms.
When your health professionals communicate and work together, you get care that is safer, smoother, and truly personalized. That’s the heart of collaborative health care—and it’s our foundation for helping you thrive.
Evie Fryer
Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner
Master of Science, Health Education
Evie’s entire life has been transformed through a holistic approach to health. Holistically Restored is a manifestation of Evie’s own journey of living with an autoimmune disease, hormone imbalances, and gut dysfunction (surprise- they’re all connected!)
She followed the prescriptions that her doctors all wrote for her to manage her thyroid disease which included medication after medication. She never once thought that there could be more to her narrative of “getting better” until she had lived through enough. Enough brain fog, enough depression, enough exhaustion, and enough weight gain.
It never once was explained to Evie what autoimmunity is, how it impacts your body, and how to treat it. She was given more prescriptions as she watched her life crumble and her waist get bigger.
Evie was sitting on her bedroom floor when she realized that this isn’t how life is supposed to be lived. Taking medication without any relief in symptoms, going to the doctor for 20 minutes every 3 months to walk out with even more questions than she had walked in with, and forcing her eyes to stay open past 2 P.M. Not to mention the anxiety- oh, the anxiety. Evie 🇬🇷 couldn’t go anywhere without feeling like the world would crash all around her.
Thanks to the internet, Evie found her own functional practitioner who immediately made her feel understood and validated. As soon as she finished her consultation with him, she knew her life was about to change. He helped her find the root of her symptoms and empowered her to be the expert of her own health.
From there, Evie decided wanted to pay it forward. Using her Master’s degree and love for holistic health, she completed several coaching certifications including Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. Utilizing functional lab testing, alongside the Medical Director, she can help you identify healing opportunities and optimize your health. Her goal is to help you become the expert of your health for years to come.
Join Evie and rewrite your life’s narrative with health at the forefront. After all, if you know better, then do better!
Dr. Steven Campbell, MD
Medical Doctor
Dr. Campbell's interest in functional medicine began after enduring career-ending injuries while playing college football and years of refractory Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Another significant push away from the conventional medical system occurred during the pandemic where the vast majority of critically ill patients were those with underlying metabolic conditions that could have been corrected long before they wound up in the intensive care unit.
Since 2020, Dr. Campbell has been working with telemedicine using Functional/Integrative approaches to help patients optimize their health. Currently, Dr. Campbell holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He also works extensively with cardiopulmonary exercise testing and ways of improving aerobic capacity. In addition, he has certifications from the Institute for Functional Medicine,The Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine (WorldLink), and WildHealth.

Gwen Gorman
RDN, LD
Gwen’s passion for nutrition began early through an appreciation for movement, performance, and the impact that nourishing foods can have on overall well-being. That passion ultimately led her to become a Registered Dietitian, but it was her experience working in the hospital setting that sparked a deeper interest in functional and integrative medicine.
While caring for critically ill patients, Gwen witnessed firsthand how often nutrition was overlooked within the conventional healthcare system despite its powerful role in preventing and managing chronic disease.
Motivated by these experiences, Gwen transitioned from clinical care to telehealth counseling, where she helps individuals navigate a wide range of health concerns through personalized support and evidence-based care. To further expand her expertise, she completed the educational requirements through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, deepening her understanding of the interconnected nature of the body’s systems and the root causes of disease. She utilizes comprehensive nutrition assessments, detailed health histories, and laboratory data to identify opportunities for healing and help clients address the underlying factors contributing to their symptoms.
Understanding that the world of nutrition and wellness can often feel overwhelming and full of conflicting information, Gwen is passionate about simplifying the process and providing individualized support every step of the way. Her goal is to empower clients with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to make sustainable changes and become active participants in their own health journey.
